Bourbon Glazed Cube Steak

Steak is one of my favorite foods ever.  This recipe is very simple and pretty figure friendly since I made it on the George Foreman grill.

2 cube steaks, brought to room temp before grilling

salt and pepper

a few grinds from McCormicks Steakhouse grinder

Sauce:

1/8 cup water

1 tbsp sugar

1 -2 tbsp molasses

2-3 tbsp bourbon

sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes

dash of onion powder

dash of garlic powder

salt and pepper

Preheat grill. Season cube steaks with salt, pepper, and steakhouse seasoning. Place on grill and cook until done. While steaks are cooking, whisk together ingredients for glaze in small bowl. Microwave about 15 secs or just until warm.When steaks come off grill, brush liberally with bourbon sauce.
