Kiwi Marinated Steak

In the summer time, grilled steak becomes a staple around my house.  Using kiwis is such a good way to marinade meat without adding fat to it. The meat becomes incredibly tender after only a short time. I mashed up about 5-6 kiwis with my hands ( you could use a food processor or potato masher too if u wanted) and poured them over 3 NY Strip steaks. Refrigerate and let marinate about 3 hours. Grill!

You really must give this a try. You will be surprised at the outcome.

    I have never heard of doing this before hearing about it on the nest board. I totally want to try this now!! Does the meat end up having a strong kiwi flavor?

      no it doesnt have a kiwi flavor at all really. The steak is just slightly sweet. Its honestly amazing.
