Yaki-Mandu

Yakimandu (korean dumplings) are seriously so easy to make and are super delish! This recipe was given to us by my dads friends wife who is from Korea…geez try to say that 5 times fast lol I know this recipe sounds weird but trust me, you will love it!

Ingredients

1 pkg wonton wrappers

1 lb ground beef

1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice

3/4 can sauerkraut

1 med onion, diced

a few glugs of soy sauce, sorry..ive never really measured…you’ll just have to taste it!

salt and peper

Cook rice and cool. Brown ground beef. Season with salt and pepper( go easy on the salt because of the soy). Add onion and cook about 3 mins or until soft. Stir in sauerkraut and cooked rice. Shake in a few glugs of soy sauce. Remove from heat. Place about a tsp. of ground beef mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper. Rub a little water around the edges of wrapper and fold to seal.  Heat 3 tbsp. oil over med heat in large skillet and add wontons. Cook about 2 mins per side or until brown. Serve with soy sauce. This makes  a TON of food!
